Another Training in Databases Held at CIU

Another training in Databases was held at Caucasus International University.
The training was conducted in English language and it was specially designed for international program students and academic personnel.
Trainers Ms. Tamila Mirkamalova EBSCO representative from Prague Office and Mr. Rodney Nyborg from US. Office, together with Ms. Nana Khuskivadze, a representative of LTD Innovative System Management discussed the use of search mechanism on EBSCOhost platform, electronic resources and database.
The training, which is permanently held with the initiative of CIU Library, aims at studying the mechanisms for finding and using information in scientific databases.
The meeting was attended by the students of the international programs offered by CIU faculties of Business and Medicine, program supervisors, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and librarians.

CIU Representatives at the 6th Erasmus+ Staff Week
On April 27-30, the “6th Erasmus+ Staff Week – Mobilities and Digitalization: Shaping the Future of the European Universities” was held at the University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Representatives of Caucasus International University participated in the event. The university was represented by the Head of the International Relations Department, Svetlana Kirakosiani and the department coordinators, Nino Chirgadze and Mariana Jalalbekova.

CIU Doctoral Students Visit the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria
From April 17 to 28, Bulgaria, in particular the University of Veliko Tarnovo hosted ten researchers from Caucasus International University. Doctoral students from the Doctoral Programs in Mass Communication, Political Science, Business Administration, and Law participated in the intensive, short-term exchange program.
