International Multidisciplinary School-Conference on Biomedicine “Biomed – 2024” Was Co-Organized by CIU

On May 12-14, the international multidisciplinary school-conference on biomedicine “Biomed – 2024” was held in the hotel “Paragraph” in Shekvetili. The event was co-organized by Caucasus International University.
Dali Ghaganidze, Associate Professor of CIU Faculty of Medicine and Vera Khundzakishvili, Associate Professor of Dentistry Program of the Faculty of Medicine, were engaged in the work of the conference.
The structure of the conference placed emphasis on updating and transforming knowledge in the field of medicine, as well as raising the qualifications of biomedical representatives and bringing them together in a single community of researchers, the goal of which is to develop and systematize knowledge.
“Biomed - 2024” aimed to unite institutions of different areas of medicine to improve new and innovative achievements and to develop medical education and health care.
The conference was held in plenary and round table format. In addition, training courses were held for doctors in the format of sectional sessions. Private sessions were devoted to the strategic development of rheological research in rheology, where rheological researchers from different countries presented their research results and plans for the next 10 years. During the conference, the speakers also discussed current issues of modern medicine.
At the end, all participants of the conference were awarded certificates.
