    CIU Doctoral Students Visit the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

    From April 17 to 28, Bulgaria, in particular the University of Veliko Tarnovo hosted ten researchers from Caucasus International University. Doctoral students from the Doctoral Programs in Mass Communication, Political Science, Business Administration, and Law participated in the intensive, short-term exchange program.

    Within the framework of the program, the participants attended training sessions focused on fundamental topics such as academic communication, research skills, and professional development. The primary goal of the course was to strengthen the participants’ research competencies and support their integration into the international academic community. The doctoral students had the opportunity not only to attend thematic lectures and workshops, but also to actively engage in the academic process themselves. They presented their doctoral research projects, participated in international discussions, and shared experiences with representatives of universities from different countries.

    As part of the program, the doctoral students delivered a presentation about Caucasus International University, introducing their colleagues to the university international and research activities. Additionally, they highlighted the academic priorities of the university and the opportunities CIU offers to young researchers.
    Alongside the academic component, the visit also included a cultural and educational program. Through excursions and special activities, participants became familiar with the history of Bulgaria and its rich cultural heritage.

    Caucasus International University expresses its support for the future academic activities of its doctoral students: Dimitri Kobiashvili, Teo Iordanishvili, Nino Pirtskhalava, Ana Alelishvili, Natia Tevzadze, Giorgi Mukbaniani, Ia Nadirashvili, Mariam Bazerashvili, Nana Maghlakelidze, and Erekle Iantbelidze.

    Such international activities once again demonstrate the university commitment to creating a high-standard academic environment and supporting the successful integration of doctoral students into the global academic community.
