CIU Professor Alika Guchua Awarded Expert Status of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences

Alika Guchua, Associate Professor of Caucasus International University, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and Head of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in International Relations, was awarded the Expert Status of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences by the Decree of the Presidium of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences for the evaluation of annual reports on the scientific activities of Georgian higher educational and scientific-research institutions in the field of politics.
Alika Guchua is a member of the Social Sciences Department of the Council of Young Scientists of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, as well as a member of the Political Science Association of the Republic of Poland. In addition, he heads the Institute for Strategic Studies of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Threats at CIU and is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Ante Portas - Security Studies.

On Granting the Right to Implement Four New Professional Training and Retraining Programs to Caucasus International University
By the decision of the Council of the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement of the Republic of Georgia on May 21, 2026, in accordance with the Resolution No. 131 of the Government of Georgia of March 15, 2019, Caucasus International University LLC was granted the right to implement four programs for a period of three years.
