- Presentations by scholars and public figures, including a review of works by Georgian writers and poets addressing the deportation of the Vainakh people
For your information, on February 23, 1944, under orders of the Soviet authorities, the Chechen and Ingush populations were forcibly expelled from their homeland within a single day and deported to Central Asia. In 2004, the European Parliament officially recognized the deportation of the Chechen and Ingush peoples as an act of genocide.
