Outdoor Lecture at the Biltmore Tbilisi Hotel
The students of the Undergraduate Education Program in Tourism of the Faculty of Business and Technology at Caucasus International University, has an outdoor lecture at the Biltmore Tbilisi Hotel within the framework of the course “Hotel Reception-Accommodation Administration (Opera PMS program)” led by Lasha Khaduridze, Assistant Professor.
The tour was led by: hotel reception and accommodation supervisor, reception and accommodation employees (including administrator, concierge, hostess, etc.) who explained in detail to the students the specifics of their position and their duties and responsibilities.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
- 5-star hotel general operation and standards;
- Hotel room categories and their specifics;
- Overview of conference spaces;
- Overview of hotel departments;
- The main safety rules of the hotel, the specifics of the evacuation exit and their significance;
- Positions of employees of the reception and accommodation department and their definition.

Project “Warm City Tbilisi” by CIU Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism Students
On December 6, fourth-year students of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism at the Faculty of Business and Technology successfully implemented a practical learning activity – an introductory tour of Tbilisi for international students of the faculty, within the framework of the course “Event Management and MICE Tourism” (lecturer: Assoc. Prof. Nana Akhalaia).
