Modern Teaching Methods – Marzena Zakowska’s Training at CIU
Marzena Zakoswka, a Polish scientist, Professor of The War Studies University conducted training on the topic – Modern Teaching Methods at Caucasus International University on June 2, 2019. The event was attended by the professors and invited lecturers of the Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Marzena Zakowska discussed modern teaching methods and strategies within the framework of the training. Using Polish experience, she placed emphasis on such teaching methods as a case study and its variations; role-play/simulation/situation modeling; frontal lecture types and approaches; modified lectures, and brainstorming.

Project “Warm City Tbilisi” by CIU Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism Students
On December 6, fourth-year students of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism at the Faculty of Business and Technology successfully implemented a practical learning activity – an introductory tour of Tbilisi for international students of the faculty, within the framework of the course “Event Management and MICE Tourism” (lecturer: Assoc. Prof. Nana Akhalaia).
