A masterclass on “Marketing Strategies for Career Development,” led by marketer and consumer behavior researcher Nata Tsereteli, was held at Caucasus International University. The event was organized by the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service in partnership with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Within the framework of the meeting, the speaker discussed one of the key modern approaches to career development — personal marketing, presenting it as a strategic tool for achieving professional success. Particular emphasis was placed on the “Ikigai” technique, which represents an effective model for professional self-discovery based on the intersection of an individual’s interests, skills, values and labor market demands.

Throughout the masterclass, Nata Tsereteli highlighted the significance of positioning as a process that enables individuals to clearly define their professional identity and effectively communicate it to a target audience. Additionally, she discussed the principles of developing uniqueness, which contribute to creating a distinctive professional image in a competitive environment.

The session offered practical recommendations on how to effectively present individual skills and academic experience, apply modern self-positioning models and manage professional reputation. Participants gained valuable knowledge on long-term career planning and the purposeful use of their abilities.

The masterclass proved to be an important platform for students and graduates, helping them better understand their professional potential and develop a competitive career strategy.
