On December 16, the Faculty of Law of Caucasus International University organized a training session on the topic: “Legal Regulation of Public Procurement” for graduates of the Faculty of Law.

The training was conducted by Natia Kiladze, a corporate consultant specializing in public procurement, a PhD student at CIU Faculty of Law, and a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council. Prior to the commencement of the training, the participants were welcomed by Professor George Khatidze, Doctor of Law, Dean of the Faculty of Law.

The session combined both theoretical and practical components, offering participants a comprehensive overview of the legislative framework and regulatory mechanisms governing public procurement.

During the practical part of the training, participants were introduced to the public procurement process, including the application of tender procedures and electronic procurement systems. Additionally, emphasis was placed on current practical challenges, which are highly relevant to professionals working in both the public and private sectors.
