Estonian Development Cooperation Scholarships for Students from Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia
Estonian Development Cooperation scholarships are financed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
Scholarships are available for four different summer university programmes for the students from Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia.
Application deadline for the scholarship is 10th April 2016.
There are 3 scholarships available for every programme:
Secure e-Governance - 26 June - 9 July, in Tartu and Tallinn;
Social Dimension: Estonian Business Environment and EU-Russian Relations - 10-23 July in Tallinn and Tartu;
Social Dimension: EU-Russian Relations and Baltic Regional Security - 17-30 July in Tartu and Pärnu;
Juri Lotman and Semiotics of Culture - 4-15 July in Tartu.
Scholarship covers:
- Programme fee;
- Housing with breakfast during the programme in shared double or triple rooms with other students;
- Travel and Subsistence grant (paid during the programme) in the amount of 180 euro.

CIU Doctoral Students Visit the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria
From April 17 to 28, Bulgaria, in particular the University of Veliko Tarnovo hosted ten researchers from Caucasus International University. Doctoral students from the Doctoral Programs in Mass Communication, Political Science, Business Administration, and Law participated in the intensive, short-term exchange program.

“Geriatric Assistant” - Opening of the Training Process
On May 1, an opening ceremony of the professional training program - “Geriatric Assistant” was held at Caucasus International University. This educational initiative is implemented within the framework of the Tbilisi Municipality City Hall project “Learn and Get Employed”, which aims to promote vocational education and support employment. The program has enrolled its full cohort of 15 participants and will run for the duration of 8 weeks.
