Educational-Cognitive Tour in Spain

Nino Zviadauri, MA student of the faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking at Caucasus International University visited Spain within the framework of educational-cognitive tour and the financial support of the University from 3 to 10 June, 2018.
The aim of the visit was to become familiar with the innovations in viticulture-winemaking, modern technologies and research centers, share experience and collaborate.
The above mentioned educational tour was organized by Cultural Resources Association – Iberia.
Within the framework of the visit, MA students visited scientific and practical sphere - Madrid Institute for Rural Development and Agricultural and Food Research - IMIDRA, Rio Negro Wine Farm – “Cogolludo” wine cellar, small farms and wine cellars.
Within the framework of educational and cognitive tour, representatives of Georgian side also visited the University of Burgos and were introduced to the bases, laboratories, infrastructure and research centers. During the meeting, opportunities and directions of future collaboration were discussed.

Project “Warm City Tbilisi” by CIU Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism Students
On December 6, fourth-year students of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism at the Faculty of Business and Technology successfully implemented a practical learning activity – an introductory tour of Tbilisi for international students of the faculty, within the framework of the course “Event Management and MICE Tourism” (lecturer: Assoc. Prof. Nana Akhalaia).
