    Property Management System Opera is known as OPERA (PMS) in hotel industry, which represents comprehensive software support; it is mainly used in order to coordinate check-in-check-outs, sales, planning and other services. The software Opera makes automatic the following functions of the hotel: taking guests’ orders, managing guests’ details, online booking, controlling point of sales, telephone service, managing guests’ account receivable, sales and marketing, banquets, food and beverage costing, maintenance management, managing personnel and payroll, controlling technical service, controlling quality, and other amenities. Hotel Property Management System can interface with revenue and central reservation system, expenditure management system, front office, back office, point of sale, housekeeping service and other departments.

    The course will be offered in English and Georgian languages.

    Software OPERA topics:

    • Taking guests’ orders;
    • Managing guests’ details;
    • Online reservation;
    • Controlling point of sale;
    • Managing guests’ account receivable;
    • Food and beverage costing;
    • Planning events, quality control.

    The course also includes theoretical teaching.

    Description of Theoretical Course:

    • The importance of service staff in hotel development;
    • Essential characteristics of the profession and ways for their development;
    • Service etiquette;
    • Basics of Public Relation;
    • The role of marketing in hotel management;
    • Hotel services and foundations for their realization;
    • Hotel room categories – hotel departments;
    • Accommodating guests (in accordance with international standards);
    • Reservation (telephone etiquette);
    • Guest registration, guidelines for receiving guests’ comments;
    • Hotel housekeeping;
    • Food and beverage department.

    The course also entails visits to various European brand hotels located in the capital city and seminars “Hotel in Practice”.

    2. Adjara Group chain: hotels (Holiday Inn, Rooms. Stamba, Fabrica);
    3. French Brand Accor hotels: Mercury, Ibis;
    4. Hotel Biltmore.

     

    Certificate participants will be awarded bilingual certificates (in English and Georgian languages) upon the successful completion of the educational program.
