Giorgi Zviadadze’s Dissertation Defense Held at CIU

Public defense of the dissertation by George Zviadadze, doctoral student of Educational Program in Political Science was held at Caucasus International University on November 10. The topic of the dissertation: “Religious Non-State Actors Role in the Process of International Relations: Civilization Clash Realities in Geopolitical Transition Period”.
Vakhtang Maisaia, Doctor of Political Science is the Scientific Supervisor of the dissertation thesis. Official Reviewers: Liana Melikishvili, Doctor of Historical Science, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences and Tamar Kiknadze, Doctor of Political Sciences, Caucasus International University Associate Professor.
The Defense Board was headed by Academician Roin Metreveli, Vice President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of History.
The defense of the dissertation was attended by the University authorities, representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of the Parliament of Georgia, representatives of academic and scientific circles.
After submitting the paper and following the relevant procedures, Giorgi Zviadadze was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Political Science by the decision of the Dissertation Council of the Doctoral Program in Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences at Caucasus International University.

On December 6, fourth-year students of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism at the Faculty of Business and Technology successfully implemented a practical learning activity – an introductory tour of Tbilisi for international students of the faculty, within the framework of the course “Event Management and MICE Tourism” (lecturer: Assoc.
