Life-long Learning Service has been operating at Caucasus International University since 2010, contributing to the solution of modern world challenges, and implementing the principles of “Life-long Learning”. Therefore, providing assistance to a large part of the society, different social and age groups, as well as creating the conditions complying with “Life-long Learning” is our priority.
Life-long Learning Service has been offering various courses and trainings to interested individuals since 2010:
Life-long Learning Service has been actively involved in Tempus Grant Projects since 2013, facilitating institutional development of university life-long learning.
Under the framework of Tempus grant project SSRULLI, Life-long Learning Service elaborated and implemented 5 various trainings and certificate courses:
“Regional Centre for Tourism Development” was created under the framework of Tempus grant project CruiseT. 3 trainings were conducted free of charge on the basis of it, including:
Trainings “Hotel Business and Art of Service”(August 23-24) and “Agro and Wine Tourism” (August 25) were conducted for workers of tourism field of Shida Kartli and interested individuals in Gori /23-25.08.2016/.
Training “AgroTourism” was conducted with the initiative of “Regional Centre for Tourism Development” in Mtskheta Municipality on 28.02.2017.
A summer school “Georgian Winemaking and Culture” was initiated by Life-long Learning Service for senior pupils of Kareli Gymnasium on 02.-03.07.2015.
Apart from certificate and training-courses, the Service offers language learning course in English, German and Spanish.
Life-long Learning Service pays attention to qualification enhancement for the personnel.
Exclusive Motivating Training “Service Gold 115”was conducted on 29.04.2017 and 04.-05.05.2017
The Service actively cooperates with Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations and Associations with the purpose of popularizing university life-long learning with a large number of people.
The Service intends to implement long-term certificate courses and elaborate distant-teaching courses, facilitating to carry out principles of university life-long learning.
