A public lecture was held on the topic: “Development of the Tourism Sector in Georgia. Vision and Future Plans of the National Tourism Administration” within the framework of the Tourism Week at the Faculty of Business and Technology of Caucasus International University.
The lecture was delivered by Tamuna Koriauli, First Deputy Head of Georgian National Tourism Administration.
Within the framework of the meeting with the students of the Undergraduate Program in Tourism, the speaker discussed such issues as: Current State of Tourism in Georgia; Statistical Indicators and Characteristics of Domestic and International Visitors; Goals and Results of Marketing Activities of the National Tourism Administration; Current Trends in the Development of the Field and Ways to Overcome Challenges; Current Projects and Future Plans for the Development of Tourism in Georgia.
The lecture was held in an interactive format, where students had the opportunity to obtain answers to the questions they were interested in.
Within the framework of the event, the guest and the audience were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology of Caucasus International University, Marika Kldiashvili and the head of the Tourism Lab, the initiator and organizer of the public lecture, Lali Mikeladze.
At the end, interesting joint activities with the National Tourism Administration were planned with the involvement of the faculty administration, program supervisor and students.
