Caucasus International University student Tsitsino Khachidze was granted a scholarship by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia to participate in an International Summer School. The scholarship was available for students from Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia.
“Relations of European Union and Russia and Baltic Sea Regional Security” – this was the topic of the international summer school that took place in 17-30 July, 2016.
The courses were conducted by leading local and international experts at Tartu University and Parnu College.
Tsitsino Khachidze made a presentation on the topic: “Relationship of Moldova, Ukraine and Russia towards Russia. Threats and System of Defense” and wrote an article: “Providing the Security of North Europe and Baltic Sea Region and NATO” within the framework of the summer school.
The representatives of the Estonian government met the students within the framework of the summer school. The students listened to the presentations concerning the countries post Soviet Union and relationship with Russia, visited Parnu city and attended a dinner ceremony together with the authorities.
Upon the completion of the summer school CIU student Tsitsino Khachidze was awarded 5-credit certificate.
