Caucasus International University student or graduate is given opportunity to enjoy a status of a visiting student and to study at the universities of Burgos or La Rioja from one month to a year. In this case, the student or graduate selects the relevant subjects and pays for them on the basis of a credit (a visiting student has to take minimum two-three credit subjects). In addition, the visiting student enjoys all the privileges that enrolled students do in the usual way, for example, a student card, a transport discount card, the right to work - 4 hours a day and more. A visiting student has to cover his/her accommodation expenses, however CIU representative in Spain will help him/her to make an optimal choice. The accommodation costs on average 200-250 euros.

It is worth mentioning that Caucasus International University offers Spanish language courses that use University of Burgos program for teaching the language. The duration of the course is 3 months. After the successful completion of the course and passing the exam students are awarded a certificate issues by Caucasus International University and University of Burgos. Successful participants in language courses will be awarded 6 credits from the University of Burgos. These students will have the opportunity to use the given 6 credits in case of choosing a visiting student program. They will no longer have to pay for the selected 6 credits while studying in Spain.

Upon the completion of a Visiting Student Program a student or a graduate will be awarded a Visiting Student Certificate from the relevant university.
