Zaza Surguladze and Nini Bulia, Caucasus International University students of the Faculty of Law, participated in the selection competition of the winning project of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia: “Promotion of Legal Education in the Future Generation for the Security of the Legal State and Its Institutional Development” and were among the 30 students participating in the project.
Students of Tbilisi State University, Iliauni, Caucasus International University, Sukhumi University, University of Georgia, Gori and Kutaisi universities took part in the selection competition. The winner of the grant competition and the implementer of the project is Tinatin Tsereteli Scientific Society, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The goals of the project are: strengthening legal culture; promoting legal education; raising legal awareness among schoolchildren; strengthening the legally secure environment; establishing respect for the law among schoolchildren; raising awareness of human rights and state institutions; the role of state structures in reinforcing the rule of law.
Within the framework of the project, 30 selected students will be given a five-day training for trainers by experts in the relevant field at Tbilisi State University. At the end of the training, the participants will be tested on the issues covered, based on which the top 8 participants, together with the authors of the project, will participate in information meetings with schoolchildren of the cities defined by the project.
