“Eternal Values and the Constantly Changing world” - an international symposium was held on February 6-17 in Radisson Blu Iveria, which was dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the enthronement and the 90th anniversary of the birth of His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II. The aim of the symposium is to find the ways of bringing the opposing positions closer in the fields of education, law and culture.
Representatives of more than ten churches and societies of foreign countries took part in the conference. The symposium was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, the Scientific Center for Studies and Propaganda of History, Ethnology and Religion and the International Center for Christian Research under the Georgian Orthodox Church.
Associate Professor Beka Kantaria, head of the Scientific-Research Institute of Constitutional Democracy, presented a paper – “National Traditions and Constitutionalism” on behalf of Caucasus International University at the symposium.
