A public lecture on the topic: Recent History of Georgian Diplomacy since the Restoration of Independence was held on the occasion of Georgian Diplomacy Day on November 3.
Mikhel Ukleba, ambassador and a researcher at Levan Mikaladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, held an online meeting with the audience interested in diplomacy. Within the framework of the lecture, the guest reviewed the important moments of diplomatic activities of Georgia, the existing challenges and the specifics of relations with different countries or international organizations from the first years of restoration of independence to the present day.
Please note that November 3 was established as a professional holiday of Georgian diplomats in 2004 and is connected with the birthday of the famous Georgian writer and public figure, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani.
The public lecture was organized by CIU Life Long Learning, Career Development Service, the Public Relations Service and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
