Caucasus International University hosted College of Business and Entrepreneurship (Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland) delegation.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with Kakhaber Kordzaia, CIU Rector and the representatives of the administration, where the parties discussed the current cooperation and future prospects.
Nana Amiranashvili, Dean of CIU Faculty of Social Sciences and Magda Tortladze, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine introduced the university space to the guests within the framework of the faculty tour and set directions for future partnership.
On the same day, Przemyslaw Furgacz, Head of the Department of Economics at the College of Business and Entrepreneurship, Head of the Central European Institute of Research and Strategic Analysis (CIRSA), delivered a public lecture for the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences on the topic: Manipulating Crude Oil Prices as a Threat to Economic Security. In addition, Monica Borek, Doctor of Medicine conducted a lecture for Medicine students on the topic: “Why Georgian Wine is Healthy - the Role and Importance of Antioxidants in Medicine.”
Furthermore, there was held a meeting of Giorgi Abashishvili, Dean of CIU Faculty of Business with Paweł Gotowiecki, Rector of the College of Business and Entrepreneurship. During the meeting the parties discussed: prospects for future cooperation in the field of business education; Implementation of joint programs with Caucasus International University Faculty of Business; impact of Covid-19 on the education sector, current challenges and future prospects.
It should be noted that there is quite active cooperation between universities within the framework of the Erasmus + program, which is reflected in the implementation of a joint postgraduate program offered in English (Global Policy and Security Studies), joint international scientific conferences and student / academic staff exchange programs.
