A short course in winemaking offered within the framework of the joint project of Georgian EnoTourism Association (GETA) and Caucasus International University (CIU) ended on November 24.
The short course in winemaking intended for specialists working in the field and individuals interested in the subject aimed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for a winemaker using modern teaching methods.
In total 8 meetings were held within the framework of the training.
The course was led by the trainer: Saba Kitiashvili, a chief winemaker at Ethno Okami” LLC; National Wine Agency - Member of Tasting Committee; a sommelier - Shumi wine company; a founder / chief winemaker - “Spring Fields” LLC.
Within the framework of the course, the meetings were held in the tasting space of Caucasus International University, in the wine cellar “Kolkhi” and in the Shumi wine bar.
The participants were awarded bilingual certificates issued by the Georgian Eno-Tourism Association (GETA) and Caucasus International University (CIU) at the Shumi wine bar.
