For the irreversible development of Caucasus International University and each of its students, close international cooperation becomes crucial in the policy of the university.
In today’s global world, where innovations and modern technologies play a decisive role, the aforementioned mutual collaboration becomes even more valuable.
Niagara College Canada is an outstanding partner for us in the field of viticulture and winemaking. This month, the university hosted the delegation of the above-mentioned college, where the guests shared the traditions of the country’s ancient wine production.
They visited the infrastructure of Caucasus International University, modern viticulture and winemaking laboratories and the wine production process of CIU-based company “Ethno-Okami”.
The Canadians, fascinated by the Georgian hospitality, expressed their impressions and emotions of the visit in a letter of gratitude, which the president of Niagara College, Sean Kennedy, and the Senior Director, International Students of the college, Gary Torraville, sent to the Chancellor of Caucasus International University, Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze.
“The opportunity to be immerses in the culture of Georgia, to be educated om the ancient craft of Qvevri winemaking, and to experience it firsthand had a profound impact on us all. We look forward to our continued partnership and friendship in the years ahead while providing our students the opportunity to visit the oldest wine making country in the world” – is stated in the letter of gratitude which is enclosed below.
