On November 29, public lectures were held for the students of the undergraduate programs in Management, Finance and Tourism at the Faculty of Business and Technology of Caucasus International University, within the framework of the lecture course “Governmental Accounting” delivered by Manana Mchedlishvili, Associate Professor.
The lecture on the topic – “The Role of the Accountant in Business and Employment Prospects in the Financial Sector” - was led by Nato Chitauri, the trainer of the financial academy Ratio, the head of the Accounting Department at the “Oil and Gas Transportation Corporation”. The lecture on the topic – “The Necessity of Preparing Financial Statements and the Importance of the Accounting Program in Companies” was led by Mariam Khizanishvili, trainer of the financial academy Ratio, freelancer, financial manager and chief accountant.
The speakers discussed their practical experience, the needs of accounting in companies, the need to prepare financial statements, the importance of accounting programs and employment opportunities in Georgia, as well as the prospects in the accounting profession.
