On April 17-18, Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland) students visited the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University on a study visit and within the framework of a scientific-research project.
Ekaterine Chalaganidze, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, welcomed the guests and gave information about the university. In addition, Alika Guchua, supervisor of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations, Associate Professor, welcomed the students and provided information about the current events.
On April 17, the first lecture was held with Professor Zaza Tsotniashvili, the head of the Undergraduate Program in Journalism/ Postgraduate Program in Media Studies and Multimedia Production, on the topic: “Information War and Challenges for Georgia”. The second part of the day was devoted to the lecture delivered by Associate Professor Eka Berai on the topic: “Analysis of Georgia’s Foreign Policy”, and the students of CIU Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities attended the meeting.
On April 18, a meeting was held with Associate Professor Davit Tabatadze on the topic: “Georgia’s Political Conflicts in 1990s and 2008 - a Comparative Analysis”, and the final lecture was delivered by the head of the Undergraduate Program in Law, Associate Professor Guram Gvinjilia on the topic: “Cyber Operations - News and Challenges”.
Each meeting was conducted in an active question-and-answer format.
