On February 11, a conference called “My Main Achievement” was held to celebrate the International Day of Scientific Women and Girls, organized by the National Science Library.
The conference served to promote the development of science in Georgia and the importance of the role of young women scientists. For this purpose, the representatives of the scientific and educational fields were united in one space.
Female scientists participating in the event made presentations on their most important scientific achievement and shared with the audience what motivated them to start their research.
Representatives of the Faculties of Medicine and Law of Caucasus International University participated in the mentioned conference:
Invited lecturer of the Faculty of Medicine, doctor-pediatrician Maya Svanidze (correlation of seasonal variation of ground-level ozone level with the features of spread of infectious diseases) and students of the Faculty of Medicine: Mariam Shulaia (Assessment of Aspects of Gender Equality in Georgia) and Mariam Chakaberia (Early Marriage and Related Problems).
Associate Professor of CIU Faculty of Law, Nino Kharitonashvili (Comparative Civil Law) and PhD student of the Doctoral Program in Law, guest lecturer Meri Ketiladze (Georgian Court of Bankruptcy).
