On May 15, the second scientific conference on the topic: “Georgian School of Political Science - National and International Dimension” was held at the Geopolitical Modeling Laboratory of Caucasus International University, on the initiative of the Academy of Political Sciences and Morals.
The conference was opened by Kakhaber Kordzaia, the Rector of Caucasus International University who spoke about the importance of the conference and thanked the speakers for their productive scientific activities.
The aim of the conference was to become the academic community aware of the management of the political science development process.
Georgian and foreign representatives of academic and scientific circles presented papers at the scientific conference, and they referred to such important issues as: “Metacognitive Approaches to Political Science Management - Metapolitics, Metacognitive Monitoring and Digitalization”; “Navigator of Political Sciences - www.meta-polit.com”; “History of Soviet Political Science and the Unique Traces of Georgian Scientists”; “The Role of the Georgian Diaspora in the Development of Political Science”; “Fragments of the Post-Soviet History of the Development of the Georgian Political School”; “Mathematical Modeling of Social and Political Processes - the Role of Georgian Mathematicians”; “Paradigm of Security Research Development in Georgia”; “Georgian Political Axiology - the Works of Aleksasndre Amilakhvari”.
“A completely new management system, a new management technology - metacognitive management theory has been created at Caucasus International University. This is a real innovation that is very important for science. The study of the issue and the interest group went beyond the scope of Georgia, and Ukrainian colleagues also actively participated in it. It is about alternative visions of social problems of existing conflicts, crisis management in general. Metacognitive management, unlike the existing one, means holistic management - not primitivization of the issue and management at the dilettante level, but gaining deep knowledge in relation to the issue, which is connected to a serious interdisciplinary study, where scientists from different fields are involved - all this is the basis of the theory of metacognitive management”, - Aleksandre Rusetsky, the head of the Geopolitical Modeling Laboratory of Caucasus International University.
Co-organizers and partners of the conference were: Geopolitical Modeling Laboratory of Caucasus International University; National Academy of Sciences of Georgia - Center for Innovation and High Technologies; Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (science popularization program); Tskhum-Abkhazian Academy of Sciences; Georgian Technical University; Saint King Tamar University of the Patriarchate of Georgia; Scientific Council of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.
