On June 13, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Georgia Mr. Ishizuka Hideki paid a visit to Caucasus International University.
A meeting was held with Kakhaber Kordzaia, the University Rector. The meeting with the ambassador was also attended by Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Vice Rector, Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to Rector and representatives of the Department of International Relations.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the existing cooperation between the two countries, especially in the direction of the academic field, and outlined prospects for future cooperation.
Within the framework of the day, a public meeting of the ambassador of Japan with academic staff and students of the university was held in Zhiuli Shartava Room, where Mr. Ishizuka Hideki delivered a lecture on “Japanese Diplomacy and International Relations”.
Towards the end of the day, the ambassador visited the educational environment and infrastructure of Caucasus International University.
