The representatives of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University met with the Professor of the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland), the head of the Department of Eurasian Area Studies of the Faculty of International and Political Studies, Anna Jach, within the framework of a working visit, on April 12.
On behalf of Caucasus International University the meeting was attended by: Ekaterine Chalaganidze, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Vakhtang Maisaya, Head of the Postgraduate Programs in International Relations and International Security / Global Politics and Security Studies offered in English, Associate Professor Alika Guchua , Head of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations, Associate Professor Davit Tabatadze and Ani Gagnidze, a doctoral student of Political Science.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of involving academic staff in the scientific-research process, holding a joint international scientific conference, implementing a dual degree bachelor’s program, exchange missions within the Erasmus+ project and actively involving students in exchange projects. In addition, within the framework of the meeting, the parties raised the issue of conducting specific scientific-research activities.
It should also be noted that the students of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow will visit Caucasus International University (CIU) within the framework of the exchange program and scientific-research project on April 16-18.
