A public lecture was held on the topic – “Taxes and Benefits for Small and Medium-sized Businesses”, which was led by the representative of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, financier Giga Pertia. The event was held within the framework of the “Business Incubator” meeting.
Before the start of the lecture, the guests and the audience were greeted by: Ketevan Nanobashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, and Ia Nadirashvili, the head of “Business Incubator”.
The speaker discussed such issues as: the process of creating a startup, the ability to properly manage an idea, the first steps in entrepreneurship, etc.
“When you have a good idea and want to embark on a business, create a startup and take the first steps in the direction of entrepreneurship. It is necessary to familiarize yourself with the tax code in order to take advantage of the statuses and preferential taxation regimes that the legislation allows us,” stated Giga Pertia, who expanded the issue with practical examples.
