On October 6, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia with the delegation of the Global Wine Tourism Organization, which was attended by the Deputy Rector of Caucasus International University, the President of the Georgian Eno Tourism Association, Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, and the Advisor to Chancellor, Professor Zviad Gabisonia.
At the meeting, Apolon Kakabadze, Deputy Minister, Jemal Putkaradze, Advisor to the Minister and the representatives of the National Wine Agency of Georgia introduced the main directions of the state strategy for the development of winemaking and wine tourism in Georgia. In turn, the guests shared the experience of the Global Wine Tourism Organization with the Ministry, while the representatives of Caucasus International University introduced the parties to the educational and research projects in the direction of wine tourism and winemaking.
