A presentation of the products by Caucasus International University Winery “Ethno Okami” was held in the Wine Store “8000 Vintages”.
The event was opened with a welcome speech by Lasha Bodavel, the general manager of the winery, who spoke to the audience about Ethno Okami achievements and future plans.
The second part of the meeting was dedicated to the tasting of wines, within the framework of which the chief winemaker of “Ethno Okami” Saba Kitiashvili spoke to the invited guests about the technology of making each wine.
The Dean of CIU Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, Olan Gotsiridze, Dean’s representative Gvantsa Lotuashvili, students of CIU Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, “8000 Vintages” wine consultants, Georgian and foreign consumers attended the wine tasting.
It is significant that, in addition to industrial wines, an experimental wine sample was also presented at the tasting, which was appreciated by the evaluators.
CIU Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking continues its partnership with “8000 Vintages” network, within the framework of which a number of other winemaking events are planned with the participation of “Ethno Okami”.
