On March 20-26, the Global Money Week is held around the world. The National Bank of Georgia and its financial education platform www.finedu.gov.ge joins it for the ninth time this year, and Caucasus International University - Faculty of Business and Technology is actively represented among the partners.
The project envisages conducting open lessons on financial education for III-IX grade students, led by “Finedu” ambassadors.
On March 22, Tornike Shermadini, PhD student of Business Administration of CIU Faculty of Business and Technology, Head of the Audit Department of the State Audit Service of Georgia, met the students within the framework of the project.
The classes were held in Gogita Kiknadze Tbilisi Public School N182 and Cervantes Gymnasium – “Aia-Gess”.
Global Money Week has been celebrated worldwide since 2012. It is held annually in spring in more than 170 countries around the world, and its main task is to promote and increase financial, economic and entrepreneurial awareness among children and young people.
This year, the theme of the week, in addition to money, is also related to the issues of sustainable development, ecology and caring for society. The motto of this year’s week is “Plan your money, plant your future”.
The following meetings will be held remotely by representatives of Caucasus International University in the regions.
