Caucasus International University is actively working on expanding the area of international cooperation and international mobility possibilities for students and staff. From 16-22 September 2019 one of such mobility was implemented within Erasmus+ project. The coordinator in Cooperation with Foreign Universities and Educational-Scientific Organizations of International Relations Departments of CIU carried out the Staff Mobility for Training at the International Relations Department of Siauliai State College in Lithuania.
The main part of the mobility included activities such as job shadowing, working meetings, sharing of good practices and peculiarities of working at the International Relations Office. The mobility helped to improve the quality of cooperation between the International Relations Departments of the two institutions.
Several meetings with International Relations and Project Management Coordinator and the Head of International Relations Office of Siauliai State College were conducted on raising the number of exchange possibilities; settling the details of Erasmus+ exchange program management, which would raise the effectiveness of the program itself. During the working meetings also a revision of the last submitted Erasmus+ application was carried out. Parties also settled all technical details of the future exchange programs. Within the mobility also meetings were conducted with the Heads of the Departments of Health Sciences and Business in order to discuss the carried out projects both within and outside Erasmus+ and prospects of future cooperation.
Caucasus International University and Siauliai State College are cooperating since 2015 on bilateral and since 2016 on Erasmus+ level and already have a successful experience of exchanging both students and staff.
