Closing of CIU Winter School
On February 10, the final day of Caucasus International University Winter School on Local Self-Governance was hosted by Rustavi Municipality City Hall.
The School students were met by Mikheil Muzashvili, Head of the Administration of the City Hall, who introduced the audience the important projects implemented and planned in Rustavi, and later answered the students’ questions.
“Niko Nikoladze - Unity, Self-Action, Self-Governance” - Giorgi Pareshishvili, Adviser to the Rector of Caucasus International University, curator of the school, delivered a lecture on the mentioned issue to the School students.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law of Caucasus International University gave a speech, who once again mentioned the significance of the school and expressed gratitude towards each participant and organizer involved in the project.
Tinatin Nibloshvili, Deputy Chair of Tbilisi Municipality Assembly, spoke about the importance of the school, who thanked the participants of the school and the organizing team for a productive week and placed emphasis on the significance of continuing similar projects in the future.
The students of the School also summarized the one-week activities and thanked the university for the implementation of the mentioned project.
At the end of the speech, the School students were awarded appropriate certificates. Mariam Jachvadze, Head of the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service of Caucasus International University, and Alika Guchua, Supervisor of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations at Caucasus International University, participated in the awarding ceremony, along with the above-mentioned speakers.
The closing of the School was celebrated with a Gala Dinner in Tbilisi.
