The Science and Technology Center in Ukraine project coordinators, Professors – Maria Espona and Jean Pascal Zanders visited Caucasus International University on August 1.
CIU Postgraduate Program in Global Politics and Security Studies offered in English was jointly planned and created with the funding of the above mentioned center in 2020, and from 2021, the academic process for the program began, which was supported by the center for two years. The guests held a meeting with Kakhaber Kordzaia, the rector of the university. In addition, the meeting was attended by Vakhtang Maisaia, Supervisor of Postgraduate Program in Global Policy and Security Studies offered in English, Alika Gechua, Supervisor of Undergraduate Program in International Relations, Tamar Laghidze, Deputy Head of International Relations Department and Mariam Natsvlishvili, Georgian Biosafety Association representative.
Within the framework of the visit, the guests visited the “Institute for Strategic Studies of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Threats”, which was created within the frame of the Center’s project, and later a working meeting was held in the direction of continuing the future cooperation between the University and the Center, where the issue of implementing joint scientific projects was discussed.
