Tatuli Ghvinianidze, the contemporary writer, the author of the bestseller – “The Confession on the Palm” met CIU students on May 3.
The author discussed her creative life, books and their characters. Along with the bestseller, Tatuli Gvinianidze reviewed her new book – “One Week in One Room”.
During the meeting, many interesting questions were raised, which led to active interaction between the writer and the students attending the event.
“Educated youth is the foundation of a strong state. They are the ones who can bring fundamental, positive changes to the country and create a healthy system based on the principle of justice, equality and rapid (but quality) development. I think that such meetings serve to broaden horizons, knowledge and self-determination, which will ultimately shape each of them into a nationally minded person; As an individual who respects the collective mind, serves common goals, fights for the preservation of national freedom, and, at the same time, defends personal red lines – the one who works hard for the full realization of his/her own happiness and potential.
I want to thank you for the invitation. It was an unforgettable meeting - I met a lot of bright minds and pure souls! They are ready to travel to themselves and the outside world, to learn about life and the laws of nature. I am filled with pride to think that I have been given the opportunity to contribute a little to these majestic and great processes. I want to wish my peers and even younger people to live in a free Georgia, to have the chance to reveal their talents and to be happy, which is impossible without inner harmony - therefore, I wish to reconcile with deeply hidden demons, to fall in love with oneself and to morally resolve moral dilemmas”, stated Tatuli Ghvinianidze.
The public meeting was held by the initiative of Caucasus International University Student Clubs Union “Magnum Opus”.
