The summer school organized by Caucasus International University – “Peace Policy and Trust Restoration with the Occupied Regions” - was closed with an external activity on July 8.
The participants of the school were hosted by the Bishop of Tskhinvali and Nikos, the Most Reverend Isaias at the episcopal residence.
At the meeting with the participants of the school, Reverend Isaias spoke about the Diocese and also recalled the stories of the August War, and in the second part of the meeting, the students were awarded the relevant certificates.
During the day, the school participants also visited the monument of Shindis heroes and decorated their graves with flowers.
It is worth noting that in Caucasus International University the summer school, which was held with the support of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, about 40 students from 13 state and private higher education institutions of Georgia attended lectures were over the course of one week.
The school was coordinated by Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University.
