The winning project of the Faculty of Business and Technology in the fundamental scientific research grants competition of Caucasus International University is “Peculiarities of Gastronomy Business Marketing in the Post-Pandemic Period, Its Digital Transformation, Challenges and Opportunities”.
The authors of the project are Tatia Bregvadze, head of CIU Marketing Research Laboratory and a visiting lecturer, and Rusudan Dalakishvili, Associate Professor of CIU, Doctor of Economics.
After the victory, as a result of successful negotiations, within the framework of the project, a research collaboration was signed with the Spanish University of Alcala (Universidad de Alcala).
Based on the agreement, the stages of the mentioned research project will be jointly implemented by the Georgian (CIU) and Spanish (UA) parties, which includes the joint study of the features of the European market, the joint implementation of focus groups and interviews necessary for primary research, the organization of meetings with industry representatives in Spain, the publication of joint articles and the support of other events supporting the project.
It is worth noting that the postgraduate and doctoral students of CIU Faculty of Business and Technology will be involved in the research project.
