Briefing of Horizon Europe National Office in Georgia was held at Caucasus International University on June 7.
The event was opened by Kakhaber Kordzaia, Caucasus International University Rector who placed emphasis on the significance of the Horizon Europe activities and thanked the representatives of the National Office for productive work.
Nino Inasaridze, the head of the Horizon Europe National Office in Georgia and her deputy, coordinator in the partnership direction, Luka Kemoklidze, opened the briefing with the presentation on topic: “European Union Research and Innovation Framework Program “Horizon Europe” - General Overview”.
Among the speakers of the meeting were Teona Maisuradze, Nino Nanava, Tamar Berberashvili and Elene Cherkezia, who reviewed various activities and clusters of the program.
Please note that “Horizon Europe” is the main financing program of the European Union in the field of research and innovation, with a budget of 95.5 billion euros. The mentioned amount will be awarded in the form of grants for seven years (2021-2027).
The program supports the creation and implementation of EU policy in the field of research and innovation, by enhancing cooperation between countries, creating and disseminating new knowledge and technologies.
The administrative and academic staff of the university attended the briefing held at Caucasus International University.
