Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023/GEW started on November 15-17. The event was organized by Caucasus International University Faculty of Business and Technology and Business Incubator.
The first meeting was held on the topic: “Creative Thinking” within the framework of the week. The event was led by Ia Nadirashvili, Head of CIU Business Incubator, Retail Expert and Business Trainer.
The aim of the event was to develop creative thinking, generate ideas and introduce the possibilities of making an innovative product through various creative techniques. The students were given a master class on creative thinking and brain storming which they later used in the process of team work.
The students were given various thematically different items in the workshop part, thus they created a new product through the learned techniques. Design thinking techniques helped trainees explore opportunities and develop empathy for target consumers. It is worth noting that the components of sustainability, circular economy, innovation and technologies, waste recycling and others prevailed in terms of problems and solutions.
As a result of the presented ideas, the winning teams were awarded in the nominations: “Sustainable Production and Consumption”, “Circular Economy”, “Innovation and Technologies”. The winning teams were given university-branded gifts and vouchers from the “Schinhofer” company.
