The presentation of the book “Canada” published by the Institute for US and Canadian Studies (USACA) was held at Caucasus International University on May 22. The textbook covers a wide range of topics: History of Canada, constitutional framework, literature, winemaking, legal and gender issues.
The Institute for US and Canadian Studies (USACA), founded in 2017, is a scientific research unit of Caucasus International University, headed by Associate Professor Dr. Nana Parinos. Rebranding is common in the group, which involves welcoming a new stream of students to USACA. The authors of this textbook are: Nana Parinos, Tsitsino Bukia, Ani Gagnidze, Ani Kibordzalidze, Nika Vachiberadze, Lado Kvikvinia.
The event was opened by the Rector of Caucasus International University, Professor Kakhaber Kordzaia. Then the floor was given to the students who got acquainted with the mentioned book. The team of students, consisting of first and fourth year students, spoke about the value of the book and their impressions. Irakli Kenchoshvili, a distinguished scientist of Georgia, was among the guests.
The chancellor of Caucasus International University, Mr. Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, spoke about the role of the mentioned textbook at the end of the event and encouraged USACA team to create more such products.
The administrative/academic staff and students of the university attended the presentation of the book.
