A cabinet of Islamic Republic of Iran has been opened at Caucasus International University. It aims at studying Persian language, conducting/publishing researches on Iran-Georgian political relations, establishing scholarly relations with leading universities of Iran, funding the studies of MA and PhD students in Persian language and organizing joint scholarly conferences for students and academic staff.
The opening of the cabinet of Islamic Republic of Iran has been attended by CIU administration, Deputy Ambassador of Iran in Georgia, cultural attaché, rector of Free University, Professor of Georgian University and leading Persian specialists of TSU. The representatives of the Embassy gave a memorable gift to CIU rector. Persian specialist Nomadi Bartaia presented his own book – “Georgian Vase for Iranian Roses” to the cabinet.
