Media Literacy Public Lecture on the Topic: Society in Information War and Predatory Journals and Conferences

A media literacy public lecture will be held on the topics: “Society in the Information War” and “Predatory Journals and Conferences”. The event is organized by Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service of Caucasus International University and CIU Library;

The purpose of the meeting is to raise public awareness of disinformation and develop basic, practical skills to determine the reliability of information.

Speakers:

Zaza Tsotniashvili, Doctor of Journalism, Professor, Head of Undergraduate Program in Journalism at Caucasus International University;

Tamar Kavtaradze, Head of Caucasus International University Library.
