Caucasus International University, Scientific-Analytical Center for Georgian-Iranian Relations and Department of Culture of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Georgia is pleased to invite you to participate in the 5th International Scientific Conference on Georgian and Iranian Political, Economic and Cultural Relations.

Tbilisi, Georgia, CIU, October 29, 2020

Conference aims at:

• Promoting the development of common academic environment between Georgian and Iranian universities;
• Encouraging scientific activities and developing productive professional relations;
• Establishing contacts between participants;
• Linking scientific researches of Higher Educational Institutions to the real market demands.

Working languages: Georgian, Persian, English.

Requirements:

• Representatives holding a scientific degree and an academic position at universities and other scientific-research institutions are eligible to participate in the conference;
• Conference paper has to refer to recent Georgian and Iranian political, economic and cultural relations, as well as the problems of South Caucasia and Middle East region;
• A paper can be presented by two authors;

Abstracts have to include the following information:

• An abstract has to be submitted in two of the suggested working languages (maximum 300 symbols in each language);
• Font: Sylfaen.

A paper should be formatted in the following way:

• A complete paper has to be submitted in one of the suggested three working languages;
• Font: for Georgian, English and Persian versions - Sylfaen;
• Size: headings (title, participant’s first name and surname, name of the institution, academic degree, position) - for Georgian and English texts -14 Bold, for Persian - 16 Bold, for Georgian and English body texts -12, for Persian body text - 14;
• Spacing - 1,5;
• Margins - 2,5 from all sides.

Important Dates:

• October 10, 2020 - Deadline for submitting abstracts;
• October 18, 2020 - Deadline for submitting papers;
• October 29, 2020 - Conference Opening Ceremony.

Information for Participants:

• The participants’ papers will be published in Conference Proceedings; every participant will be awarded a certificate at the end of the conference;
• The participants will be allotted 10 minutes for presentation, debates will last for 5 minutes.
