A performance: “Grigol Peradze” was staged by the director Goga Tavadze, in which the actors: Nino Andriadze, Nikoloz Kvantaliani, Zurab Arusia and Levan Katsiashvili participated. The event was held at Caucasus International University, with the support of the Public Relations Service of the Patriarchate of Georgia and organized by the cultural-educational society “Itsani” on November 27.
The play depicted the life and martyrdom of Grigol Peradze, a theologian, historian, archimandrite, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor.
Archimandrite Grigol Peradze, who sacrificed himself for Christianity, his homeland and his fellow men, was canonized by the Georgian Orthodox Church in 1995 and was named priest-martyr Grigol.
The performance was attended by the representatives of the Public Relations Service of the Patriarchate of Georgia and the Deputy Dean Guram Charelashvili, as well as students, academic and administrative staff of Caucasus International University.
