Professor Phati Gabunia, Physician-Infectionist, Doctor of Medicine, delivered a public lecture on the topic: HIV/AIDS Achievements and Challenges at Caucasus International University in connection with the World AIDS Day on December 8.
The speaker talked about infectious pathologies, the AIDS epidemic, the statistics of the spread of HIV infection and ways of its prevention at the meeting.
The meeting was attended by students of Caucasus International University educational programs in medicine offered in Georgian and English languages.
