On April 11, the Faculty of Social Sciences of Caucasus International University organized a public lecture on the topic: “The Role of Political Reforms in Central Asia on the Example of Kazakhstan”.
The first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia, Kanat Seitzhanov, led the lecture. The diplomat reviewed current domestic and foreign policy issues of Kazakhstan, discussed the recent reforms implemented in the country and future perspectives, and also highlighted Georgia-Kazakhstan relations.
The second part of the meeting continued in an active interactive mode, where the students got answers to the questions that interested them.
The public lecture was held in English, and was moderated by Vakhtang Maisaia, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of Caucasus International University and University of Warsaw, head of CIU Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security.
University administration and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences attended the event.
