On May 18, an international scientific conference was held at Caucasus International University in cooperation with the Jagiellonian University (Poland) on the topic: “Modern Challenges of International Relations and International Law”.
The conference was opened by Ekaterine Chalaganidze, Acting Dean of CIU Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Georgia Mariusz Maszkiewicz, Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia Buba Lomuashvili, Director of the Institute of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University Anna Jach, Director of the State Service of Veterans Affairs, Major General Koba Kobaladze, Supervisor of Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security of CIU, Vakhtang Maisaia, CIU Assistant Professor, Brigadier General Gela Giorgadze and Dean of the Faculty of Law of CIU George Khatidze addressed the audience.
About 50 speakers of the conference presented papers in 3 sectoral sections: Regional Integration; Media and Modern Technologies; International Security.
Presentations in each section were evaluated by a panel of experts in the field and academic staff.
At the end, all the conference participants were awarded a certificate.
