An international scientific conference was held in Warsaw, the capital of Poland on November 30 and December 1. Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University and lecturer of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, participated in it among the scientists invited from different countries of the world.
The conference entitled – “Hope of Faith and Hope of Politics” - was hosted by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw and was dedicated to the memory of Pope Benedict XVI. Giorgi Pareshishvili presented a paper on the topic: “Impact of Islam on Modern Political Processes” and participated in a panel discussion about the relationship between religion and politics and their influence in today’s world.
Future joint activities between Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw and Caucasus International University have been planned, which envisages a joint scientific conference, student exchange, as well as the organization of joint workshops and public lectures.
